While it's no secret that the Winter months in New England can be a difficult time of year, Hoosac students have been braving the cold weather over the past few weeks on Ski and Snowboard Club outings to Jiminy Peak and Killington.
Most recently, honor and high honor students were rewarded for their hard work in the classroom with a trip to Willard Mountain. 17 students from all Forms braved the cold last week, standing patiently in line before taking the tube lift to the top of a 200 yard tubing hill.
Much to their surprise, the snow tubes were reaching high speeds and proved to be a LOT of fun. Ski and Snowboard Club will continue through the Winter, and more students are planning to attend trips to Killington and other places as their athletic schedules permit.
