From Boston: Take the Massachusetts Turnpike west to the first exit in New York, Route 22. Take Route 22 north for 37 miles until it intersects with Route 7 at a right turn. Hoosac is another 200 yards on the left. The drive takes about three hours.
From New York City: Take I-87 north to Albany. At exit 23 take I-787 north to the exit for Bennington. Take Route 7 east toward Bennington. Hoosac is 23 miles from I-787, on the left. The ride takes about three hours.
From Montreal: Take I-87 south to Route 7 above Albany. Take Route 7 east towards Bennington. Hoosac is 27 miles from I-87, on the left. The drive takes about four hours.
Albany is the closest commercial airport. Private planes land at Bennington Airport. Albany Airport is 40 minutes away by car. Bradley International Airport in Hartford, Connecticut is two hours away by car. Logan International Airport in Boston, Massachusetts is three hours away by car.
Amtrak picks up and discharges passengers at the Albany-Rensselaer station. Connections can be made from Boston, Montreal, Buffalo, and New York City. Taxis and rental cars are available there.
Trailways/Greyhound pick up and discharge passengers at the Albany station. New Englander buses run from Boston to Williamstown, Massachusetts, which is 20 minutes away. The school can arrange for shuttle service from the bus stations.
